![]() As others have noted, it is located in a very diverse area and also has a lot of good, hard to find liquor.7 different Cachacas! The beer selection isn't as great, but they do have some interesting things others don't have. This place is really in Doraville, not Atlanta. When in the area, and not feeling up to visiting Greens, I am more than happy to visit this location despite the one racist black security gaurd who called me a cracker, and accused me of not parking in a parking spot for compact cars, which indeed I was parked correctly. Pricing is competative, as they honor cash/debit pricing. They have a decent selection of usual craft, as well as a worthy selection of belgiums and other 750ml's. I enjoy conversation with Rich, but it gets to the point where his bad breath is almost unbearable while he stands so close speaking. Also Richard will talk your ear off, usually standing inches from you. Mostly friendly staff, other than the racist security gaurd who works there occasionally (not talking about Ernest, he looks VERY mean, but hes a great guy). I always find something to tickle my fancy here, but most of the beer stocked is available everywhere else in the Atlanta area. I frequent this location somewhat often, maybe three times a month. But for it's size and location, I'd say this Tower is A-OK. You can go to other liquor stores and find a bigger and better selection of booze. They've always have had a small but decent selection of imported beer from Germany and Belgian, but they've recently increased their variety of American craft beer, with a nice selection of stuff from Atlanta breweries. ![]() I've been frequenting this Tower since 2009, and I will say since then, their selection of craft beer has been expanding. They also have a decent variety of spirits and wine. So if you want a good variety of saki or soju to choose from, this is your place. It certainly has the best selection, especially compared to some of the smaller package stores in the area.Īs others have mentioned, this Tower is in a very diverse area. There are closer package stores to my house, but since I find myself on Buford Highway frequently, Tower is probably my go to liquor store in the area.
